About the event
In this Phlebotomy class at Brown's Training Academy, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the techniques and skills necessary to draw blood from patients for laboratory analysis or transfusion.  Phlebotomy course, applicants must meet the following requirements:  A. Be at least 18 years of age B. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent C. Have the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Our experienced instructors will teach you the proper techniques for venipuncture and capillary puncture, as well as how to handle and transport blood samples.
