The course focuses on building competence in critical procedures such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillation.

Service Outline:

  1. Basic Life Support (BLS) Training:Introduction to BLS principles and guidelines. Recognizing and responding to cardiac and respiratory emergencies promptly. Proper techniques for high-quality CPR on adult, child, and infant patients. Understanding and utilizing automated external defibrillators (AEDs) effectively. Practicing team dynamics in emergency situations. Assessing and managing choking incidents in different age groups.
  2. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Training:Review of BLS concepts and skills for quick reinforcement. Advanced assessment of cardiac rhythms and appropriate interventions. Application of cardiac pharmacology, including medications and dosages. Advanced airway management techniques for maintaining adequate oxygenation. Integration of effective communication and leadership in a team-based approach. Simulation-based scenarios to simulate real-life emergency situations.

Course Requirements:

  • Participants must be healthcare professionals working in emergency medical settings, such as doctors, nurses, paramedics, and other qualified personnel.
  • No prior BLS or ACLS certification is required for enrollment in the BLS course. However, for the ACLS course, candidates must have a valid BLS certification.
  • Participants are required to complete an online assessment before attending the class. 

Course Format: The BLS and ACLS training will be conducted through a blended learning approach, combining self-paced online modules and in-person practical sessions. The online modules will allow participants to grasp foundational concepts at their convenience, while the in-person classes will facilitate hands-on practice, skill evaluations, and dynamic team simulations.
